Athon CA 794 Silane is a reactive chemical containing octyl functionality and 3 hydrolyzable ethoxide groups bonded to the silicon atom.
Athon CA 794 Silane has the n-octyl group, a highly hydrophobic hydrocarbon chain that provides excellent water repellency characteristics.

Athon CA 794 Silane can also be used to modify other surfaces, increasing compatibility with different substrates.
