Athon PC 2000 Silicone Coating is suitable for mineral-based construction materials such as concrete, brick, limestone, natural and artificial stone, plaster, wood and coated metal surfaces as permanent protection against graffiti. For surfaces already coated with paints and other coatings, a previous test is necessary to assess whether there is a need for a combination with a suitable primer.
The product can also be used as a permanent release coating in some industrial processes.
Athon PC 2000 Silicone Coating cures quickly once applied to dry substrates and exposed to moisture in the air.
Curing takes place at the surface and progresses to the substrate based on available ambient moisture. Thorough drying for heavier film layers may require up to 24 hours.
Suitable solvents include aliphatic (hexane, turpentine) and aromatic (xylene and toluene). It is not recommended thinners or others based on ethyl acetate for example. Containers, once opened, must be used until empty. Any remaining coating, exposed to air, will continue to cure and thicken, resulting in surface skin formation and increased viscosity.

Dilutions in the range of 1:10 to 1:15 (product: solvent) are usually employed.
A&S WR 400 Fluid is a solvent-free silicone concentrate, based on silane and siloxane blend soluble in organic solvents.
